Default X-Box 360 on Play

Now available to pre-order from Play for the release date of 29/11/05

http://www.play.com/play247.asp?pa=n...e=front&r=X360

There also seem to be a few good games to keep us going for a while:

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 3
Call Of Duty 2
Project Gotham 360 (gimme gimme gimme)
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2006
Burnout Revenge (gimme gimme gimme)

well that's my christmas presents all sorted for this year

Seems a little expensive at £399 but if the graphics are as good as a top of the range gaming pc then it's not that unreasonable!!

Same price as the original then!
That's the price you pay for cutting edge technology I guess. Leave it 6 months and it'll be the same price as the PS3 launch price.

No way would it be released that much - remember the previous one was launched at £300 and was a big embarrasement - didnt shift until reduced to £199 a few weeks later. I wouldn't be suprised though if the PS3 turns up £400 though

That's just to catch the pre-orders. I'd be amazed if it's more than £300 at launch. I think MS will be looking to grab as much market share as they can early on so will price aggressively.

You mean the pre rendered footage.

Just compare it to the 360 version of Need For Speed.

Don't get me wrong I will be buying an Xbox 360 but apart from Project Gotham its hardly an inspiring launch is it.

The 360 still gives the impression its a stop gap until the PS3/Revolution main course.

MS HAS to get the price right, and that means less than £300 at launch, and less than £200 by the time the PS3 launches, IMO.

Doesn't the price on Play go up or down... I would be surprised if it stays at £399.99..

Think I will wait and see what Gameplay/Toys r Us do in the way of release bundles...
