what's the best/cheapest broadband to get?
looking at finally getting broadband but i'm getting a bit lost with what one to go for.
my mate said to give metronet a look and it seems the cheapest, but the 70 quid activation fee is a bit offputing.
tiscalli seems ok but has 12 month contract (is this the norm?) the 3 month contract of metronet is more appealing.
usual thing when there's loads of options, can't make up my mind!
any advice please?

i signed up for the 512k with free 1mb upgrade for 2 years, all for £10 per month. i also get a free 1-port adsl router and free activation.
