Talking Best broadband?

Hi all

my lady has managed to get her company to pay for installation and monthly bills for broadband at home, the question is (me not being a computer techno kind of person) can we get a package that includes TV, mainly Sky or something aswell? if so who do you recommend?

thanks in advance

Ray

NTL is probably your best bet, if u can get cable. If u cant get cable, then Bulldog do cheap DSL all in packages including phone line, but no TV. However their customer support is abs cack.

Telewest do TV and Broadband deals but don't think Sky do.

You maybe better off with a stand alone broadband if her company is paying it, never know they may get the hump if they see TV costs on the bill too.

I am currently with Wanadoo 1.1Meg service 17.99 a month.

Prices and packages vary between service speed and download limit so worth shopping around.

Cable or DSL Brendan. Satellite is as laggy as sin - good for downloads but otherwise not a patch on the other two. I'd only consider it if you couldn't get the others.

Cable probably atm.

Seems easier to upgrade the speed. Upload is sometimes slightly better than on ADSL, well the dload doesnt suffer as much on cable, that I have seen.

However roll on ADSL2+

unlimited access, unlimited downloads, 1.1Mg connection speed at £19.95 a month.

Plus you get cheaper utility bills as well, (gas, elec, home phone, mobile) all through Utility Warehouse https://www.utilitywarehouse.co.uk/s...dex.taf?exref=

Ive used them for the past year and a half and have saved around £200.00 on my bills overall, havent encountered any problems either.

Hello

If someone else is going to pay for your BroadBand connection, you should go with a quality provider like Zen (http://www.zenadsl.com) at about £34.99 for 2mb with no restrictions or caps.

Or Nildram. Excellent quality, cust service, reliability. About 25 p/m for 2mb. There is now a restriction. Can't remember what it is but unless you're doing a lot of file sharing you're not going to get anywhere near it.
