but just saw some screenshots for

Shutoko Battle PSP

and that looks tempting

 

I'm still playing thug 2 on it and still makes my jaw drop.

PS2 graphics and the screen is huge

 

im still playing ridge racer! lol

i need some new games!

 

going to USA in 6 months im just gonna buy one there

 

steve, in 6 months the UK version will be due if not already available over here, the jap version is the one to have as its region free gaming and falls under the UK region for watching DVD's plus has the higher resolution screen.

I wouldnt touch a US version as the screens are supposed to be worse and there region locked to the US only

Erm nope, the screens on both my US and Jap PSP were identical. The games are region free as you say but the UMD films are locked. But to be honest go and buy a 1GB memory stick and convert DVDs etc into MP4 format and away you go. Also the UMD imports from the US (£10) are much cheaper than the UK films are likely to be.

what is the battery life like?
is it run by a rechargable battery like the gba sp
or is it normal batteries?

 

I get about 3-4 hours or so out of mine...
The PSP uses a battery which you can only get from Sony if you get my meaning.I think they're about 30 ish quid to buy off the web if you want a spare
