Default Dynamic type-based "logo" generator

Anyone remember seeing a website on slashdot that allowed you to type in a word, and it'd generate some nice, fancy graphics using that word?

Anyone remember the URL? I've been googling around and still can't find the sodding thing!

Ta,
Nick.

Oh you tease. You got me all excited.

I *think* it was written in python, and I'll be damned if I can remember the term for the things that it created. Glyphs rings a bell, but it's not right...

Iain, I saw that in my search and it's damn useful.

But unfortunately that wasn't the site I was after.

It creates a logo based on the word that you enter using random positioning, random typefaces, sizes, colours etc. And looks marvellous

So, does it generate images like this:

I found this generator quite by chance when reading some ***** blog on why you should not park in mother and baby spaces.

No you're right... he might not post on a forum about it but it appears that kind of style is ok for his own website

This thread is amusing

Nick, when did you see it on slashdot? I've searched through all of slashdot and can't find anything.

stevecotton, as I said above, I think I have found it - see my images. It does exactly as he explained in his post.

It creates a logo based on the word that you enter using random positioning, random typefaces, sizes, colours etc
Edit: I just checked slashdot and indeed, the one I have found is what he is looking for
