Played a demo on the PS2 - pretty dull and didn't like the car's physics, although the demo was fairly limited.

Took the gamble on this one and well impressed

After initial dissappointment, it grew quite rapidly on me

Pluses
Very varied range of cars
More realistic handling than GT4, IMHO, very similar to F355 on the Dreamcast
Better AI than GT4
The VGS system works well
More varied track conditions than GT4
Open area test track to practise the handling of the car
CLUTCH
Good point scoring system that rewards no collisions and no off track excursions
Night racing at Tsukuba
The Nurburgring in reverse
Balancing the throttle on a E30 M3 Rwd out of the last corner at Tsukuba

Minuses
Not enough real courses
Not enough Snow or Dirt courses
Bit vague with the tuning, could be better but i am used to GT4

Overall pretty god damn good for a first attempt and looking forward to the sequel.
Good range of Impreza's inc 22b, Spec C, Ver 6 STI, S9 Rally Car, Blobeye
