Default More PC troubles :(

Well, i finally sorted out all the problems regarding the errors in the system folder, happy days!

until i tried to connect to the internet

"Connection could not be established due to the point to point (PPP) settings on your computer and the remote computer do not match"

but all i have done is install the network driver from compaq that was on the PC before it was formatted!

any help appreciated

How are u connected to the net? DSL modem/router/cable modem? Check the properties of your device, against your ISPs recommended settings.
