Been with NTL on their 1.5 meg for about a month and just got a note through the door saying they are giving me a free upgrade to 3meg. God im glad I left BT who could only give me 512kb

Also just about to go with NTL purely because of the extra expense of install a BT line plus rental makes it far more pricey.

NTL are giving me 1Mb for £10 because I have the phone and all moveis/sports so worth asking for a better deal!!

Only thing is I have heard some stories about unreliability with them but they can't be any worse than BT which may neighbour has...

 

No problems with reliability here, only went down properly once and when it did an engineer was in the street that morning to fix it.

 

Been with NTL now for over 3 years, never ever had any down time!!!

Likewise - been with them for 2 years, no much in the way of issues, other than a reboot of the set-top-box (incs modem) every couple of months.

 

You must be extremely lucky or a NTL Engineer!
