Which Budget GFX Card ? Approx £80
I'm looking for a newer graphics card to play Halo online with a few mates. I'm currently using a *ahem* Radeon 9100 as I don't usually use the PC for games.
I (read:she) won't want to spend more than about £80 on a suitable AGP card.
I've been looking at the Radeon 9700 Pro which seems it would run the game at a high res with no problems and fits the price bracket nicely. The 9800 Pro would obviously be better, but is outside of my budget for this from what I've seen.
Any comments, suggestions or offers of bargain cards ?
Thanks,
Dunk

OcUK ATI Radeon 9700 Pro 128MB DDR TV-Out/DVI (AGP) - OEM
Best bang per buck for AGP at the moment, IMHO.
Had some very good results with the card, two very happy colleagues at work, one of which plays Counter Strike Source a lot.
PCI-E would be X700 or 6600 at a guess.
