Default Getting a screen capture from an avi file

I have a few cool films that I have downloaded from the web. I'd like to be able to take some screen shots from these to use as wallpapers. The problem is that none of my players have a screen capture button, and the print screen button on the keyboard just captures the black overlay window.

Anyone know an nice easy way to take multiple screen captures from downloaded films?

excellent. I had no idea that they could play divx files. Just tried it and it worked. Cool

Bah. Just tried to use the advice that I was given on my divx and xvid moves and it does not work. WinDVD can capture frames from a DVD, but not a compressed movie. PowerDVD will not even play some of the movies that I want to capture frames from.

I've tried the DivX player, but cannot see any sort of frame grab
Same for Windows Media Player
Same for BSplayer (my normal player, the best player out there, and its free)

I just need something that can get a screen grab from these movies. Preferably something that can go through a movie frame by frame.
