Default Ripping audio tracks from dvd

Just bought the new Nine Inch Nails single and it comes on a dvd with audio tracks not available on the normal cd. How do I go about ripping these audio tracks so that I can burn them onto a cd and play in my car?

Virtual dub mod - split the sound and video
and then
audacity to edit into tracks

worked for me after a bit of ar*ing around!

yeah these cd-extra, mixed data cds that are becoming more popular are getting a pain in the *** if your hifi cant take it. they really need to make it more clear about what formats they are in
