Default broadband & xbox live

im looking to get BB at last for the first time. Which ones are good atm? and which ones particularly with xbox live? How much of the download quota does it use?

i have mine through bt it a special package with no download limits.

telewest are the best if they are in your area bt will be limiting the downloads this year (read the small print) telewest will never have to do that because of the bandwidth they have access to

How come you get no Download limit with BT then ??

I thought ALL BT packages have a limit..... that's what I was told when I rang them...

What pachage you got dude ??

Max limit with BT is 30GB and you have to pay £29.99 for that.

I moved to pipex who now just put me on 2mbps NO Limit and £23 PM

you seem to get better deals by moving from one to another than signing from new. I was looking at pipex 2mb but will have to pay full for that. Also was trying to work out what payg bb would cost & how much GBs i would use.

yeah its £33 for 2mb, £23 for 1mb maybe if i get 1mb will they automatically put me up to 2mb for free or will have have to wait ages...

ok when they say it comes with router (1 ethernet 1usb -voyager 200 or 205) thats no good is it, i dont want to connect my pc to BB by usb surely? the xbox will be using ethernet


ps rb5 where you on 512 or 1mb before they upgraded you?
