I just ordered Tony hawk today
The machine will amaze you when you first switch on. I couldn't believe what I was seeing when the ridge racers intro was playing.

Lol it has taken me 4 days to decide to buy one or not plus considering they have pushed the date back in the UK again I thought **** it !!!

Good move. I'm going to place an order for Mercury tomorrow, and **** it Tony Hawk as well. Still playing and enjoying NFSU... still can't do the bloody Nitrous runs!!!

I'm just getting Ridge Racers then wait till they get released in the US and get games from there for the time being, have you put any movies onto yours yet ??, also are you still using the original power cord or have you sourced a different one

The power leads are pretty standard stuff. I have a 110v converter for other stuff so use that, but anything Sony comes with the same lead, so no worries there. No movies here, only running the standard 32mb card, but I do have the Jap demo disk that shows the quality of UMD movies... outstanding.

They are getting wise to all this internet trade, eg ebay and websites. I don't know many people who have managed to dodge the VAT yet. A Frien bought two psp's but only got hit for tax on one of them.
I just reminded by the girlfriend that it's a bank holiday this weekend

Yeah the postie asked me what it was as they had **** loads come in and all had been stung for import tax, I have ordered Wipeout Pure off Lik-Sang can't wait to get it !!

No tax charged on imports from Japan so far as long as you don't send it by DHL and the like, they're tax collectors, imagine how much money they hand over to the Gov!!

Not done it myself as not got a USB cable plus only just getting the machine wouldn't know where to start lol, I see you have put videos on yours is it easy enough to do once you have a bigger memory stick and the software to do so ????

Has anyone had a good look around the firmware change on the PSP ... lots of things have changed that I didn't notice at first. Photo Icon changed . Network settings for Adhoc and Infastructure modes are seperate now. PSP logo fades now when starting a game.
