Con or not? My Mum is looking into it and because I have broadband, I have no idea.

Anyone had any dealings with this or anything like them? I keep telling my Mum to just get broadband but she won't!

Cheers in advance.

Not a con as such, it does what it says, but... and this is a big but, it only works under certain circumstances. It compresses images before they get to your browser, so, if you visit pages that load *new* large graphics all the time it will be quicker. If on the other hand you're an average browser you won't get much benefit in the long run. The images on this page for instance are already in my cache, so no need to download, no benefit.

Hope this helps.
