Playstation 2 'slim line'
They aren't kidding when they say this is the slim line version are they!!
Decided to buy a new toy at the weekend to cheer myself up, as per another post about Game, nearly didn't... anyhow...
Bought a new PS2 with GT4 & Killzone + a triple pack (8mb mem card, controller and dvd remote).
I'd forgotten just how good the PS2 is, especially when you consider they are now no much bigger than a Doom3 DVD case!
GT4 is really cool, not sure about killzone yet, but haven't had much time to play on it yet.
My Xbox is going as a result, and not particularly bothered about that.
Any other titles people can recommend - not so much FPS, as I use the PC for games like that.
Cheers, Alex

Get yourself a copy of ICO ( these are still going for £40+ on ebay ) One of, if not 'the' best game on PS2 IMO..
Metal Gear Solid 3 is also a worthy title in your collection, as is the GTA series...

If you've got a PS2 you have to get GTA San Andreas, The Getaway, WRC 4, Medal of Honour Frontline and Rising Sun. As already stated, ICO is an all time classic and I would also recommend it.

Another vote for MGS3.
Give the Ratchet & Clank series a look too if you like platformers.
On the FPS front - hold on a week or 2 for TimeSplitters Future Perfect.

I went out on Saturday and bought exactly the same pack (GT4, killzone and the triple pack), although I also got MGS3 and Smackdown vs Raw as well
