Ok got in last night... GT4 on the mat. and did my first everlap of the ring
not bad... Spec C @ 8:18 on my first lap .. well happy with that... !

After that it all went a bit wrong... did another 3 laps @ around 8:21-22 but couldn't get near my first lap...
got fedup so did some races and bought a spec c so i could do the time trials so now tonight will be time trialing @ the ring in my spec C... and here's the fun bit!!!

Mmmm, wont post my just time yet then. Trying to do a fast lap with no offs or scary moments. Taking my Spec C to the ring next month and I'm not encouraged by my virtual efforts so far ...

Managed an 8:04 so far, will let you know if I can get quicker once I stop messing up the famous chicane section that gets everyone!!!!!

This is how to do a lap of the ring

 

I thought my time was quite good this was the 1st and only lap ive done until i have another go tonight.

I know the cars not standard before you pick on me

7 Min 48 secs in a Evo 8 (565 bhp )

 

My first lap was in a std Spec C and I got 8:25

Did some laps last night in my Type R V6 with 350bhp but was pissed so cant remember what the times were

 

Oops, my Spec C is over the cap already. Low 8's only so far.

 

Managed a 7:35.8 in a spec C last night. Only mod was hard racing tyres and I did the little oil change thing as soon as I bought the car. Other than that, bog standard!
Best I could do with standard tyres was 7:52.4
Just goes to show how important the tyres are when it comes down to it!!


P.s. Anyone noticed how the last set of wheels (far-right) in the Bridgestone set look remarkably like PFF7's?

 

First go of the game, managed 8:35 in the Spec C and 11:11 in the Autobianchi Abarth (both bog standard)

Just done 8.15:48 in an M3 CSL with medium racing tyres on and stage two exhaust

Edited because my M5 lap time was wrong, i was doing it to the "gantry" instead of the actual finish line lol

Well having NEVER done the ring in anything else i jumped staight into a Spec C and got a 8:11 well chuffed considering i did not have a clue what kinda corner was next lol so

BTW i baught a Spec c and tweaked it! but the BHP is still 360!

Using IN GT mode! and world tracks the ring and free run!

 

I did my 8:11 with no modes at all just the car you get when doing time trial in arcade mode and as said well chuffed matey lol

I managed a 9.01 on my first go with a Type-R VI earlier, unfortunatly my Spec C is already 415bhp

 

My exact time for The Ring in a totally standard no mods what so ever Spec C is 8:11:358 which i thought was amazing now gonna try again now that i have been round couple of times in other cars will try and nail a good one in Spec C !!!

Had a few flourishes of awesome control, mixed in with a few 90mph slides around a few of the lairy corners- sure if it was RL I'd have been dead! doh

Got mine down to a 7:34.702 last night. That 7:33 is a good time Dazza but my car is still standard apart from the tyres so I will do some mods and then see how I get on!!!

I'm glad some parts of the 'ring are in the license tests as I should be able to remember a few parts of the course now
