Default GT4 First Car Image

Well just passed the B licences and went out to get my first car.

Picked up a rather tasty 240BHP RX7 R-type, a bargain at 9,500!

Just been for a spin on the Nurburgring and decided to test out the photo function with a USB Stick....

Mogs RX7 & Mogs RX7-2

So not only have I got to master driving, but my camera skills could also do with some practice...

Damn this game is good.......

So what car has everyone else got as there first motor !!

I went for the FTO (since I have one) but in hindsight that Rex (is it the '90 plate?) or the old shape Supra may have been a better choice! Brand loyalty an all that

The game is good but I luckily managed to get A and B Licenses cos I had GT4 Prologue save It also imported my money from GT3 (up to a max of 100,000).

I thought I'd do the licenses anyway, they seem harder...but it may be cos I am using my DF Pro wheel and I have only had it a week!

Good game tho

I thought the reason for buying GT4 prologue was to import the licenses? Please tell me it is because otherwise buying that was pointless!

GT4 arrived this morning First car? Got to be a Scooby, with a few little mods it really does murder everything else in the Sunday Cup!

One slight snag. In trying to find some more memory on my pathetically small memory card, I wiped my San Andreas save. I'd done nearly 70%

I'd also deleted that save to make room, cos I thought you couldn't. But I think you can, looking at the screen. Damn again

Official release date is 2morrow. However Gameplay.co.uk always tend to deliver the day before release, and I believe a few Tesco stores have also been selling it early

Aparently Tesco are selling it but I've now been to 4 Tescos and 2 don't sell games at all, one had it in stock but weren't selling it and the other didn't even have it on their shelves

Hmm I imported my UK GT3 save into the UK GT4 and only got the 100,000 credits.

I'm slowly having to work my way through all the licenses.....

Bravo2Zero - yes I had GT3 (US) saved on my memory card

Mogsi, weird - wonder why they stopped the licence freebies for the UK version ? I had Prologue (JAP) on the memory card as well - wonder if that was something to do with it?

Why does everyone want to start with credits and licenses.

Thats the best bit, starting small and working your way up through the licenses etc.

I have a 211bhp RX7 now

Exactly Dream Weaver the best bit about this game is starting with normal credits and working your way through the game in previous games there was a car or a point at which the game became boring because you could no longer loose at it ???

I find racing around with AI controlled cars boring even if they do keep up with me.

The trouble with the Gran Turismo games is that its so easy to cheat your way through it - using cars to barge your way through corners, etc...

I'll be glad when damage modelling comes into the PS3 version, which they're about to start work on - allegedly.

Well anything that makes the game harder i.e. damage would make the game EVEN better if you ask me as said before sometimes you can find that a set amout of credits or one car can render the game as good as complete !!!

drjsd - unlucky with losing those saves, I nearly deleted the wrong stuff to make room aswell

AFAIK importing save game from GT3 will only give you 100,000 credits max. and no licenses & importing save game from GT4 Pologue gets you the A & B licenses.

Ain't played GT part yet just trying out cars on Arcade mode and a few laps of the 'ring of course.

That is well overdue and a must for GT5, so when do they think PS3 will be out, is it the usual Sony 5 year gap, if so it should be with us by November

Note to self: Do not do overtime today finish on time (13.00 ) and buy GT4
