Six days to go, I am supposed to be before 9th March.

I guess you can only go as fast as the web site you are looking at, I am looking forward to the download speeds.

Danbo, did they tell you, or could you tell for yourself that it was faster ?

Couple of quid off for current 1mb customers for a few months, and free upgrade to 2mb.

Probably as other companies are charging under £20 for a 1 mb line?

The web site ays this may take upto 5 months to complete (!!) although my note said by 17 March IIRC.

Thought they only sent emails not letters.

What you paying £45 for? Never heard of anyone paying that much.

The little icons on the bottom right of the PC say speed 100.0Mb - I was expecting this to change when I got upgraded.

100mb is the network speed link between the router and the PC as it sounds like the PC is connected through one of the four ports on the 4 port switch... (This speed won't change)
To check if you've been upgraded you'll need to go into the status of the router and check the downstream rate.Mine is currently 1152kbps (1mb)

Well, been out of the country for a couple of days, no email from BT but...

2272 kbps downstream

Woo-hoo.

Sadly, it says 288kbps upstream. Anyone else not had an upstream increase?
