Tiscali are upgrading me to 1mb at the end of the month, I was thinking of cancelling and going elsewhere though as their customer service and speed is up and down!

BT have just introduced a 2mb package for 26.99 (only £2 more than what im paying now).

So...

Are bt good to be with or should i be considering other options for around the same price?

I have been with BT for a couple of years now. I went up to 1meg 3 months ago and I have just been told that I am being upgraded to 2meg early next month, for free.

I am very happy with BT my ADSL has only been down for 1 weekend in all the time I have been with them.

So it is a thumbs up

 

If you go onto the bt website (www.bt.com) and check out the broadband pages, you can see what you can receive (bandwidth wise) by putting in your phone number.
BT are introducing the 2mb service over the next 5 months (upgrading broadband and yahoo broadband to 2mb and basic broadband to 1mb) though there are trials going on for 8mb broadband at the moment.
