Question Internal drive for Powermac?

Hi all,

I want to add another drive to the Dual G5. Any ideas of which, where and how much?!

Many thanks!

Any HD should do it's the way it's formatted that matter - OSX will do it for you.

To be a bit more specific you need a Serial ATA (SATA) drive. Usually get my parts from http://www.overclockers.co.uk Drive recommendations at http://www.storagereview.com

as posted already
G5's only take SATA drives. Try and get the same speed of drive as you already have, though it does not make a major difference
and your G5 already has the screws and runners built into the case.just unscrew them and add them to the drive to slot the drive into the enclosure.
remember that the g5 has only one spare slot, so get the biggest HD that you can afford
