Report it to your ISP and let them sort it out. If it is abusive, they should be able to chase it up for you.

Report it to the Police. It will probably go to the Computer section within.

Post on 5ive-0. They will give you advice.

If its a hotmail or yahoo account, you can get into them using your own account - ahem - allegedly.

Actually forget portFu%k - let the police onto it - people have been sent down for YEARS for this kind of thing. depends how mean you feel. If you really wanna fry this muppet - send him emails asking him to stop. he'll go on being a pain. probably even more abusive. Don't give him any idea that you are building a case against him for the police to prosecute him / her

If you are so silly as to start sending viruses, you are really pushing your luck. Stick on the legal side of things instead of dragging yourself down to the offender's level.

I did this to a manager i didnt like when i left a previous job.. but the trouble is, as i totally didnt think at the time, it sends ur ip address with the sign up email... and therefore can be tracked back to u...

one thing u can do, if u have a dynamic ip is sign up for the email then reboot ya router/modem/pc straight away so u pick up a new ip and make it harder to trace... but at the end of the day if the isp want to, they can still know its u.

wot did happen though from the 2/3 sites i signed him up for, he got like 30-40 a day with in a couple of days.. so that was rather funny! (i heard from insiders)

the thing is, companies sell on ur email addy when they get it.... u click that link at the bottem of the email to remove ur self from their database and it then flags up ur email as a confirmed active account... and they can then sell it on for even more cash... even if they cant use it themselves.
