how do you copy pictures onto a DVD+RW so you can add some later. do you copy them onto this DVD+RW like a normal write only once DVD? Do you have to do something so you can add later? I use Nero startsmart. Which of the tabs do you use or do you use another part of Nero?
thanks
Michael

If you have the latest version of Nero.... then you can use 'InCD' ...

this allows you to drag'n'drop on to any 'rewritable' disk....... just as if it were another folder on your HDD.....

otherwise.....

create data disk....

and tick allow files to be added later (multisession)

It think - from memory ...

Cheers

. . . or get a DVD-RAM compatible drive (like some of the LG range). Godsend if you ask me.

Michael - Are you sure of the model number ? Thats a CD-RW drive ?

I have the LG GSA-4163 drive which writes DVD-RAM. You can use the discs just like a hard drive, just drag-and-drop files onto it, or delete them as required with no other software needed.

Ah, my fault, thanks for checking Its a NEC DVD_RW ND-2510A. It can use DVD + & - and do dual layer. not sure if you can drag and drop with this model. will do some searching. Got Ahead InCD in my add or remove programs, so will look into this. i still dont understand if you do anything diferent during burning ie have you a choice to finish the burning (not being able to add ever again) or make it so you can add (providing you have enough space) or does it allow you as default to add to the DVD until it is full? Then again if i use InCD i can drag and drop
thanks
