How much will this cost?
Thinking about having a new pc built. It's just gonna be an internet tool with the odd bit of photoshop action - no gaming
I was thinking sommat along the lines of:
2Gig+ processor
80 gig HD
512mb (any advantage in having more?)
19/20/21" monitor
A cheeky case with perpex panel for neons
Above all it needs to be quiet as my present pc does my head in
I've got keyboard, mouse, speakers and cd drive so they are not required

If you are running photoshop and perusing the net and doing emails etc, I would probably recomment 1gb of memory although some would say that was overkill. Personally, I find it really helps in the long run when your pc get bogged down. I would probably say a bigger hard drive was a necessity these days.
Perspex 'neon'd' panels are great if they are on display... mine is under my desk so doesn't get the air time it deserves

Were you thinking of a CRT screen or TFT?
I've got an 80GB that has about 20GB used as wel. I've never need that amount of storage.

If your not gaming or hoarding mp3's/films then you dont really need anything bigger than 80gb. Half Life 2 is about 4.5gb install on its own so if you play a few recent games the disk space goes pretty quick.
