Question Pentium 4 - techy question re. compatibility

Will a Pentium 4 3.2 GHz 540HT processor from an IBM xSeries machine, be compatible with any other PC, i.e. assuming that the motherboard supports socket 775?

Yes; A P4 is a P4 is a P4 - there's nothing special about IBM machines.
