Outlook Express problem

My Oe has suddenly taken to blokng access to any attachments that are e-mailed to me. How do I remove the block.

PS it's definitely an OE thing, as I have tried forwarding the mails to my hotmail a/c and I can view the attachments from there no problem

Tools->Option->Security

Under Virus Protection uncheck the "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened..." box.
