Question KVM switches

Looking for some recommendations for a KVM switch to use at home. I want to link my desktop and laptop machines. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse, controlled by a USB dongle, so ideally I would like a switch that could handle USB inputs for the keyboard and mouse. Any suggestions?

The Belkin ones are ok, I have a two port one at home, can show you if you like

Will you have the laptop and shuttle side by side, with the laptop screen on? Take a look at synergy, I use it at home between the PowerBook and the Cube, but also my Windows machine, pretty nice.

I use a Belkin Omnicube. It swithces PS2, not USB but that's ok with PS2/USBadapters. Does your wireless kit only use one USB connection? Not sure how it'd cope with that.

Hi Steve - yes I will mate.

My keyboard and mouse is USB only - I know this might cause an issue, which is really why I asked the question. Thanks for the replies so far.

It's good - but I want something to share the screen with too Found a small Belkin KVM that might do the job - I've seen a couple of reviews that aren't brilliant though.

Oh, so you'll only have the one screen visible. VNC?
