Default Help inserting CD

Hello

I am using remote desktop, just burnt a CD with some software I need to install and Nero just ejected it!!

Is there a command to tell the CD player to load the CD?

I can reboot but my firewall will then stop Remote Desktop.

Thanks,

Steve.

Is there any DVD playback software that you can access? There is sometimes an eject/close button on the virtual remote's that they use...

I hate it when CD buring software does this. If I've just blanked the CD it's because I NEED TO BURN SOMETHING ELSE ONTO IT, SO LEAVE IT IN THERE!!!

Related - My CD drawer at work is spring loaded, not motorised. It needs to be pushed back in so any load function wouldn't work.

right click on my computer - manage.

storage - disk management

right click on cd drive and choose eject that will put it back in if open.

Hello

Thank you for that (and the other replies).

The "Eject" from the MyComputer didn't do that, but the method you described did. Weird, but thanks again!

For future too, you should be able to find the drive in Explorer and right click and select "Eject".
