This is doing my head in I have tried everything. I can play a DVD but the drive wont recognise audio cd or install cd's.

I have unistalled drivers, re-installed them, tried to open file through my computer but the cd just won't read. I've wiped programs that i thought could be affecting it, cleaned up disk space, anti-virus. Basically the whole memory has had a service There are no problems detected!

I'm thinking it could be a hardware problem but then why does it play a dvd movie

Help me please
