Can anyone help?

I have just purchased Norton antivirus 2005 to upgrade my existing Norton AV 2001 version.

When installing the 2005 version, I get a pop-up that says "earlier version of Norton detected, remove this before install can continue".

However, I CANNOT find Norton 2001 in the "Add / Remove Programs" function.

Anyone any other ideas how I can find & get rid of the 2001 version?

You can find a tool (Rnav2003.exe) for removing previous versions of NAV here: http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT...&osv=&osv_lvl=

If that doesn't work, there's a tool from Microsoft which you can use to cleanup any leftover Norton installer files which can sometimes upset NAV installation. http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;290301
