Default Btinternet pop3 problems

Hello folks.

Having a bit of a wrestle with my old mans pc.

He uses Bt Internet , and has the ISP CD . I installed all the crap on it , it dials up ( its adsl mind .. ) fine , and authenticiates ok , i can use the web as usual , it also has setup for me the OE account , but i cant seem to use this , all the settings seem ok to me , but i keep on gettin dodgy password errors. It worked yesterday , and has packed in today.

Setting atm

Connection to BT
Username xxxxxxxxxxx@btinternet.com
Password : Not gonna tell you lot

Connection to email
pop3 incomining : mail.btinternet.com
smtp : mail.btinternet.com
Username : xxxxxxxxxx@btinternet.com
Password : Same as the above one ..

Anyone see anything daft that i might have overlooked ?

Possibly a server error. Try going to BTOpenworld website and signing in to webmail. If your username and password are accepted there, then should be OK in OE.
