Xbconnect - timeout connecting to hosts

Xbconnect - timeout connecting to hosts
Hello
I have just installed Xbconnect 4.1. I have "found" my Xbox and that seems cool, network connectivity is OK (options shows it is aware of the MAC address).
I have tried connecting to a few PGR2 games, Moto GP 2 and Pro Race Driver 2 but every time I connect, it times out after about 10 seconds and the game window closes. I have set up the exclusion rule in the Windows XP firewall allowing in/out traffic thru the firewall, but do i need to set up any sort of forwarding on the wireless router ?
On the Internet Address section of Xbconnect (options) it says Xbconnect will use 81.xx.xx.xx (ntl ip address of router), local IP address is 192.168.xx.xx (local IP address of Xbox) but public address is empty. Is this the problem ?
Also set up virtual server config with port 8602 and PC ip address.
