Default Approximate cost of a Blackberry Server

Chaps

Anyone out there able to give me a rough cost for buying and setting up a blackberry server on our company network? Just looking at it for the boss and have no idea - are we talking £500, 5,000 or 50,000 - rough will do so he knows the score?

Thanks
Andy

Approximately £20,000 for server and software licenses for approx 8-10 people, plus a bit of training from Vodafone.

Devices approx 20 a month, plus initial purchase cost which differs from person to person.

it links your mail system to a hand held device bit like a cross between a pda and mobile phone

we are NHS so we might get it cheap - but we have ahd to fill in about 10 questionnaires and its still not in

Not sure what that 20k broke down into as I didn't do the figures, but that was the rough figure we pitched to the idiot director who wanted it. But then again we aren't nhs, just a poxy utilities company.

That was for installation of new server, software licences, devices. We alreayd have our own GPRS link to vodafone so think we can use the existing apn. Already got an exchange setup (largish organisation) so no hassle there.

That figure was for Vodafone to totally support it, we don't want the things but as a couple of directors do we don't have a choice.

We have a much better solution brewing
