Question Bluetooth headaches

Need some help for the gurus - got an MSI Btoes bluetooth USB adapter for my PC.

I'm trying to get all my files off my mobile phone (piccies etc), but I can't seem to do it.

Bluetooth is enabled on the phone, and the PC sees the phone. However, I can't seem to access the fiel architecture of the phone - I could before.

I've updated to XP Service Pack 2 got the latest drivers from MSI.

Any ideas how I do it?

PC running XP Pro (SP2)

Help!!!

I used to have a bluetooth dongle for my Sony Ericsson and had so many problems trying to get it to work with my pc running XP that I gave up. The only time it worked was when I plugged it into the the laptop running Windows 2K.

Now I just email my pics from my phone to myself and get them off that way, much easier

I've done a bit more digging - the phone side of the connection is fine. It's SP2 - won't find my dongle.

I can't be bothered with it - will take it to work and transfer it all with my w2k machine.

Unless anybody can think of some other ideas?

Well done Microshaft.

Your 1st post says that your PC can see the phone.
If that's true then you usually have to do a send/push from the phone, not as pull from the PC

Cheers DPat - will try it later.

Never had to before - just explored my phone and saw all the folders. Piece of cake

Not so anymore

Well, I've just plugged my Bluetooth "thingy" into my Apple Mac (OSX Panther) - went looking for the drivers etc..... and.........

Silly me

The Mac didn't need any!!

Just clicked on the Bluetooth icon and up came my phone and its folders!!

Downloaded everything in about 30 secs!

Ahhhh I do love my Mac
