Flat out demo, wont work !

Any ideas, downloaded it and it loads but when I run it I get the hourglass for a sec and then nothing, why is it that the ammount you want to play a game is proportionate to the chances of it working, if it were some tedious RPG nonsense it would work first time !

Upgrade to DirectX 9c. I thought I had it but it turns out I had 9b.
Fixed it for me.
