Dell AXIM - help

I have tried to open tom tom navigator and its been sitting on the front screen with the busy logo going round in the middle for about 10 mins now.

Its not mine its my mates so no instructions with it.

Is it just thinking or has it crashed???

think it had crashed, took the battery off and put it back on and its ok.
