Default Buying arcade ROM's

Came accross a site that sells arcade ROM's at http://www.cd-r-direct.co.uk
Does the bundle at £20 seem a good deal as the £50 DVD package seems expensive.
Any other sites in the UK with similar software??

You are only supposed to have them if you own the machine

Having said that there are people that will distribute the ROMS free of charge if you send them the blank media, or at a cost if they provide the media. It is meant to be a free-share of the resources with no cost to the person acquiring the ROMS.

So in answer to your question, no it's not a good deal

Have a peek at Starroms $2 per ROM. It's meant to be legal too. Never used it myself however.

There is no way you are going to get 3500+ MAME ROMS in half an hour thats for sure, not even half a day regardless of download speeds, alot of the sites that tend to have them all together like the excellent mame.tk don't stay around very long so getting them all together for a price is great, its saves a hell of a lot of time and you know the saying 'time is money!'
