Question Two PCs - One Broadband connection??!

I want to connect an additional home PC to the 'Net via my cable box.Is it easily possible?I've currently got NTL Broadband through the set top box if this helps.

Any help most welcome.

yes dead easy mate, you need a router. The cable box will then plug into the router, the router will then plug into the pc's. You can go wireless also, so that if the other pc is far away there is no need for wires. Thats what ive got.

Thanks for that.One more thing then; How easy to have one PC running with wireless and one via a cable? Can you buy something which allows both?

Some info on what kind of products to look out for would be a great help.

just buy a wireless router, they have wired ports at the back also. I have one, run the main pc wired, the xbox wired and the laptop wireless.

yep going to be needing to do the same thing as just about to buy ourselves a 2nd pc.

looking at going wireless.

we're on blueyonder BB.
