Available now:
CS source
Condition Zero
Condition Zero Deleted scenes
CS (original)
TFC (original)
Day of defeat (original)
Half life
Opposing forces
Deathmatch classic
Ricochet ?? (havent a clue)
Codename Gordon (ditto)
And the code to run dedicated servers
Available later:
HL 2
Day of defeat source
HL source
A lot is freebies anyway but the steam interface is good - notifying you (and if enabled) automatically updating the games with the latest patches/updates.

The only problems I had was when I tried to run games that I hadn't realised had not fully downloaded.
Other than that its been 100% rock solid for me.
For launching games its very easy to use, joining servers is a doddle without the bloatware as in third party launchers such as gamespy.
What problems have you had?

Your HL key allows you access to your steam account which you connect to to play the games. If you log off from home and then log on at work to the same account then you can play on both machines (albeit at different times)
I've been doing this for some time now

My version of HL2 on my computer is currently stuck pre-loading at 69%. Tried pressing the continue button but it doesn't work. Looks like I will have to delete all the files and the download them all again from scratch !
