I've been quoted on a desktop unit from IBM... don't need a monitor (it's not included in the quote, besides already have one). Basically I need a built system with XP pro for office network use, ideally I would like to run 2 monitors at decent res for normal office applications, don't need a fancy sound card or big HDD or fancy CD drive... just decent processor, ram and graphics cards I suppose.

Can anyone suggest a supplier of a readybuild machine better spec/price than the IBM one??? I know knack all about pc hardware....

get a copy of PCW. they got a review on base units. you might have to upgrade on the graphic card to support multi display.
