CISSP or SSCP. Worth doing?

One word: Yes
I shall be doing mine (CISSP) in November. In the UK I think there are only about 1000 people who have it. It seems to be well thought of and is one of the few industry recognised qualifications for IT security consultancy. It certainly adds to your salary and opens up a lot of opportunities in the security consultancy industry.
Fair bit of work, but well worth it IMHO. If you haven't already, get hold of the CISSP study guide by Shon Harris.

yep, definately worth doing. A friend of mine recently passed his CISSP and he is getting far more government contracts because of the cert.

Cheers guys and thanks for the tip on the book Chris, couldnt for the life of me figure out which one to buy. Looks like a few more late nights studying (just finished the 2003 MCSE)
