Default PC sending Fax

Using windows 2000 at work and our internet connection is going through bt broadband.

I have set up the fax system and using a word template to type on etc.

Now when I go to send a fax to me for instance as a test, first time it dialed out, then said error - no dial tone.

So I searched on microsoft and it said to set your modem so that it does not wait for dial tone before sending. Tried to send another test fax through to myself and this time said error - no answer. Now my fax here didnt even ring.

Anyone have any ideas? Sorry if this is a bit garbled but its starting to give me a headache

ADSL doesn't send faxes - you need an online provider to do it for you.

You need a normal modem connected to the phone line for this.
