Default Batch MP3 conversion?

I've ripped all my CD's to MP3 @ 192Kbps, but I'd like to copy these to 128/96Kbps for use on an iPod. I don't want to go through the pain of ripping them again from the original CD's.

Anyone recommend a utility that will convert existing MP3's to a lower quality and give me the option to change to another format such as AAC??

Needs to work in batch mode i.e. select the directory and let it search through all the folders converting everything it finds.

look for dbpoweramp and get the FAAC aac encoder for it. Reencode as aac and save loads of space and keep most of the quality. Average saving is about 2mb per file when ripped from cd as well...

It converts when you add a folder to the library and set the Import option to the AAC encoder - right?

I'd use LAME personally.
