as above how do i tell which version of xbox do i have? on bolder bouncer they say there are Board Versions 1.0 to 1.6 how do i tell which one i have? i bought it about a year ago.

code did'nt reviele anything so i bit the buliet and cracked it open i have either a 1.4 or 1.5 board (focus chip? ) so i can mod away now

Just done mine, got chip from BB site, Executer 2.3 lite (I think), £20 springs to mind, works well, nice LED on the front, speedy service from them. It's a bit fiddly to do using the pin header option, but so long as you have a fine tip soldering iron you should be fine.
You will then be able to play "copied" games and ones from other regions, not that I condone this type of action (but then if new games wern't £40 it wouldn't happen quite so much !).
