Default Blocking Spam at My Mail Server

I have my own domain and mail hosting, and access my email via a web based client. (www.mail2web.com)

All my mail is held on my domain until i download it, so is there a way of filtering this mail on my server so i don't have to sift through 400 emails to find 1 that is actually legit?

I used to use outlook filters, but i get my mail from many different places now, so need to be able to access it via the web.

Cheers

Andy

Is your server hosted at your ISP on actually in your offices? What's the backend mail server you're using?

You can get add-ons for the likes of Exchange that filter spam - Websense for example.

There are some free ones that run on Linux, but I'm not sure how well these actually work.

The webmail app is just a front-end. It has no intelligence built into the client - it's just your browser. Only way I can think of is on the server end.

To be honest, I don't know why ISP#s don't filter all e-mail and just send reports to customers who can then mark ones they think are OK.

Personally, I only want e-mail from people or companies I know and am quite happy to have everything else deleted at the ISP. Would make life a lot easier IMHO.
