Default Norstar phone system quick question..

I know this is not really computer related but need a quick answer.

All I need is a quick command on the phone which tells me the ext or user of the phone.
Looked through most of the user manual but no help at all for basic stuff.

Any help would be most appreciated !!

The model is M7310, nope no display when I pick up phone.Pain because when I do some repatching it would be handy just to plug in a phone and type a command to identify the ext.....

Er

Really div POV here but why don't you ring a known extension and either see or ask what is displayed (for which you obviously need a phone with a display )

When it comes to re-patching, then you need a plan/visio/spreadsheet of what plugs in where

In fact, thinking about it, all your Norstar stuff should be presented in a patch panel in the cab, for instance... Extn 200 (being the 1st extn) being at Port1, 201 at port 2 & so on. In this way, you should be able to work out the extension unless you have like a BMC when you use a web based GUI to assign extns to ports from the comfort of your desk or home
