Red face i cant windowsupdate.com !
trying to get the office PC to goto windowsupdate.com but cant! getting the message 0x8ddd003 error. had a look at microsoft website and it says network poicy settings is preventing me from using windows update.

so, is there a way to enable windows update? i have full admin rights to the PC.

what version of xp are you running. corporate network editions can be funny with winblows update.

i think you may need to get your updates from microshaft on cd i don't think you can do an online update with corp editions.

I seem to be able to, but obviously you need admin priviledges to do it.
