My Athlon XP was running between 50 and 55 c according to the motherboard software, not ridiculous but a bit hotter than it used to, took the pc apart and cleaned all the crud from between the cooling fins on the CPU cooler, CPU now running at 42/43 c, did it 5 hours ago so its had chance to get hot again.

Should have seen the **** the got blown out !
