802.11g wireless usb adapter in usb 1 slot
If i plug a usb 2 wireless receiver into my laptop which only has a usb 1 slot, what speed will i get. Will i still get the full 54mbps or will it be slower

802.11g = 54Mbps
USB 1.1 = 12Mbps
Depending on how your USB bus is wired, it could also swamp the bus for other devices. Use a proper PCI board or PC Card if you can.
