Default Case Mod's

Building a new pooter soon and I’m thinking about getting one of those fancy cases with a window in the side so I can chuck a few cathode’s and black lights in there.

So can any case modder's out there post up pics of you rig's to give me a little inspiration.

Thanx

Tim.

would you belive i built a new rig up yesterday with a new case

all blinged up with blue lights, blue cathode, blue fans and a tri colour fan, pre cut window, atomic fan guard, uv split wire wrapping, blue thumb screws and sim cable sleaving i got from work of a micra heated seat , stealth dvd drive, coolermaster muskateer fan controller, resprayed my phillips cd writer black to match

ohh cant forget the light up blue feet as well

spent about 4 hours doing the wireing and put it all back together only to break the cathode light LOL

spent another 2 hours doing the wireing today (didnt really do much to be honest, not sure where the time went )

will get sum pics up soon (got 2 more cathodes on order)

uv split wrap looks the part just with the led fans on tho.

I also recently built a new pc with light up case and four tri colour fans, also uv lights and uv reactive cables looked great once i built it but now i think to myself maybe the lights ect just cause more heat than i need inside the case.

there are some really nice new cases out designed towards the gamer think i see them on xcases who do many top quality ones.

look forward to seeing any pics posted

this isnt the best camera (staples scam deal that was on here )

but you get the major impression

today i had deliverd
2 black light cathodes
1 molex power splitter with blue led`s fitted

so i fitted them and took a few snaps

this case is about £25 from ebuyer

comes with tri colour center fan and a blue cathode tube (which i broke), ot also comes with a stealth cd rom bezel so you can hide the drive away, the drive you see is my phillips cd writer which i sprayed black to match,
you cant see the light up blue feet very well but there in there sumwhere lol

coolermaster muskateer fan controller, this looks awsome IMO but it doesnt give full power to the fans that you run from it (approx 11 volts max) you can go down to about 5 volts to keep things warm in the winter lol, the vu meter moves to any sound from your sound card and the temp probe can be fitted anywhere you like (mines on the cpu heat sink)

its guts, yellow flourecent split wrapping which glows green under UV light, Uv molex connectors for the cd rom drives (dont glow very well tbh), blue round cables, reversed hard drives to hide the wireing, black split loom on all other wires, few blue coolermaster fans and such and a bit of time tidying stuff up

LOL - not had time to tidy it up yet - its a second machine made out of transparent acrylic.

Its actually a window vent for a kitchen window - rotozipped into place

ALthough I like the touch and fresh idea.

Admittedly i've only got a glowing graphics card cooler in mine but today I moded my case for £2 That was the cost of the clear acrylic for the window

Took the Dremel to it & after about 2hrs I had this:
