Everyone is going through a similar thing. In effect whats happening is that all the flaws and security holes in IE have made it a target for hackers (trojan's etc)

I would switch to one of the superior browsers out there, that are completely free, more secure and feature things such as inbuilt pop-up blocking, etc...

Mozilla
Netscape

Are you getting a error message when it crashes ?

No web browser is totally safe and some won't allow you to view some web sites

No error message, the program just stops responding and I have to shut it down.

This happens with all websites, even the safe ones

Thanks!

It's not that they wont allow you, it's just that a lot of people are crap at web development and can't do it right.

I wouldn't use Netscape. It's not being developed any more and has a number of rather annoying compatibility problems. You'd be much better off using mozilla or firefox....

The problem you mention however sounds as though the website you are visiting has been coded for ie only, and is not cross browser compatible.

Have you tried running any spyware killers and antivirus program etc as I've seen spyware / viruses cause this sort of problem before...
